Well... I did it. I survived a year of Teacher's College. I not only survived, but I am graduating the year "With Distinction". I have always been told that I am "distinctive"... 50 000 000 Elvis fans can't be wrong.
Now for the job search.
Well, well, well...
I bet you thought I was dead. No... I am just a slacker. I can't believe I haven't updated The Schultz Files since before Xmas! Good lawdy! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much has happend since then, I don't know where to begin!
We do have a new baby in the family --Mary Isabelle was born on January 8th --Elvis' birthday. She's a cutie-petootie and her big sister Em is fitting into her new role quite nicely.
Christmas was ok. I had some sort of flu (NO I DIDN'T GET THE FLU SHOT AND NO I NEVER WILL), but the whole fam damily came over to my house. Dad brought 10lbs of crab legs that I oh-so-jealously watched everyone eat from my doubled over in pain position.
I am just completing my FINAL week of classes here at the Faculty of Education. I can't believe how quickly the year went by. I feel like the Xmas break was just a week ago --now it's March. Wow. I am READY to be DONE! Seriously. I have been a robot for the last 4 weeks or so... I checked out at the beginning of February.
Speaking of February.... I celebrated my 30th birthday on the 11th. Good times were had by most. I had some great celebrations with family and friends -and enough martinis to last me until my 40th. I am now the official family spinster. Good. I like it that way.
Anyway, my computer class is just about to begin. (For the last time... sniff). I will try to be more diligent with my updates henceforth...
