MY NAME IS LAURIE C. SCHULTZ... AND I'M A CAT PERSON!
This is Jeebus LasVegas. Jeebus came to me on July 26, 2005. He was severely malnourished (only weighed 3lbs), was covered in fleas, had a chronic respiratory condition, and was absolutely filthy! In the summer of '06, he went on meds in an attempt to cure his chronic sinusitis, but instead the medication almost killed him. Between that and a mysterious growth in his stomach that miraculously disappeared resulting in a cancelled surgery, he had a pretty rough summer! Never fear... he has bounced back, is a healthy 10 pounder and thanks me every day for sharing my house with him! He loves the Christmas tree and the ball decorations. He meows at his water dish before he drinks from it, and being completely deaf, he can sleep through anything!

Jeebus now
The following 3 pics are of Jeebus --sick and skinny on the day we met

But look at him now!

This is Hee Haw. He came to live with me in May of '06. He looked so much like Flippy (who died in May '05), I couldn't resist. He was adopted from the OSPCA. Since he has been living here, he has taken over. He likes to "suckle" from Piglet --who lets him do it!!, loves to sit in the bath tub and watch water drip, plays a mean game of fetch, and loves to lick toes and socks. He's my little weirdo.

Hee Haw Flippy
See how much he looks like Flippy?

Oh, the Pig. What can I say about Piggy. Princess Pig has an attitude. She loves to chat. This is a cat named pig- who barks in place of a meow. Seriously. Sometimes she sounds like she is making monkey noises, or the yap of a small dog, and sometimes she even whines like a 3 year old. She rarely likes to be picked up, but she will decide where and when she will be given affection. She loves to sleep on my desk, is always yelling at Hee Haw for something, and hisses when I scold her for being on the table.

And of course, my good ol' Spankers..... Spanky has been with me since May of 1994. She and Flippy were sisters. She's pretty slow these days due to a nasty case of arthritis in her hips, but she still loves to give kisses, get drinks from the sink (though I have to lift her up and down), and loves getting a "hairdoo" with the hair dryer. She's the matriarch of the bunch--she has eyes that "know" all. She's a good ol' girl and I love her lots!
